BadgeOS Add-ons Updated!

LearningTimes in collaboration with LMSninjas has updated almost all the BadgeOS Free and Premium add-ons. We have added a bunch of cool features and fixed bugs reported by the users.

So let’s get to some of the new features/updates of all the BadgeOS add-ons one by one.

BadgeOS Report Add-on:

The BadgeOS Reports Add-on adds a new Reports menu for BadgeOS admin users and automatically creates a dynamic report for all Achievement types, Badges, and Users.

What’s New/Update:

Updated data fetching query. Now filtering the User Data from User Meta rather than Log Entries.

Bug Fixes:

We have fixed warning/notification issues on plugin activation/deactivation.

BadgeOS Leaderboard Add-on:

This Add-on to BadgeOS lets you easily create, configure and add leaderboards to your site.

What’s New/Update:

Our developers did a lot of cool things with this BadgeOS add-on. Kindly take a look:

  • Only Allow Selected User Roles in the Leaderboard:

You now have the option of selecting a specific role to be displayed on the leaderboard. Other roles will not be displayed then.

  • Exclude Selected Users from the Leaderboard:

The add-on will take your preferences into account for the leaderboard. You now have the option of barring individuals from being highlighted on your site’s display.

  • Option to Display Daily/Weekly/Monthly Leaderboard:

The feature helps you set up a schedule for updating and displaying the leaderboard. This way the progress of your users can be displayed after regular intervals and provide easier tracking.

  • Display leaderboard based on a custom date range:

The leaderboard can also be set up to represent the progress for a specific set of days. It can help you track your users during significant events.

  • Updated CMB Script:

Our BadgeOS plugin had been previously running on an older version of CMB. For this update, we have made our main plugin and its add-ons compatible with the latest version of CMB.

Additional LearnDash Support:

  • Display the Leaderboard based on LearnDash Courses/Groups:

The additional support is integrating the features of LearnDash with BadgeOS. The feature enables you to directly present the progress of your users from a LearnDash course/groups on the leaderboard.

BadgeOS Activity Codes Add-on:

With the BadgeOS Activity Codes Add-on enabled, achievements can be awarded to users by their entry of a valid code.

What’s New/Update:

BadgeOS Activity codes add-on had been previously running on an older version of CMB. For this update, we have made this add-on compatible with the latest version of CMB.

BadgeOS Congratulations Add-on:

The Congratulations Add-on to BadgeOS automatically displays an overlay pop-up window (modal) congratulating users as they earn achievements.

What’s New/Update:

Our developers added some new features in this BadgeOS add-on. Kindly take a look:

  • Added a pop-up template:

A default template for the pop-up has been added to the add-on. You will have the option to override the features in the theme and customize it as per your liking.

  • Added admin option to add effects to the congratulations popup:

Pop-up window effects are customizable as well. You now have the option of setting up 42 different kinds of animation effects (like Fading in/out, Flash, Rotate, Wobble, Swing, Tada, etc.) for the pop-up.

BadgeOS Interactive progress Map Add-on:

The Interactive Progress Map (IPM) is a BadgeOS add-on that allows an admin to create a map of the various achievement types and indicate what has been completed and what remains to do. Using the shortcode embedder one can simply add an IPM shortcode to a page and those achievement types and their activities display.

What’s New/Update:

  • UI Tweaks:

We have improved the UI of Interactive progress Map add-on. It will now feel more fluent and user-friendly.

  • Updated CMB Script:

This BadgeOS add-on had been previously running on an older version of CMB. For this update, we have made this add-on compatible with the latest version of CMB.

  • Refactor logic on getting completed achievements:

Our designers have recreated this add-on from the ground up! The code powering our add-on has been restructured and any anomalies have been taken care of

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed achievement displaying issue on shortcode:

The achievement displaying issue has been resolved and will not be causing any issues.

BadgeOS Auto Messages Add-on:

The Auto Messages add-on allows BadgeOS site owners to trigger special messages for users after they cross particular achievement and site activity thresholds.

What’s New/Update:

BadgeOS Auto Messages add-on had been previously running on an older version of CMB. For this update, we have made this add-on compatible with the latest version of CMB.

BadgeOS Referring Link Add-on:

The Referring Link Add-on for BadgeOS allows a user to earn an achievement on your site by clicking on a specially-generated link that you can place virtually anywhere.

What’s New/Update:

Like other BadgeOS add-ons, BadgeOS Referring Link add-on had been previously running on an older version of CMB. For this update, we have made this add-on compatible with the latest version of CMB.

To make sure that all the BadgeOS add-ons you use function normally, we recommend updating them to their newer version as well.
