Innovative Learning Resources Promotes Mastery of 21st Century Instructional Practices

We’re kicking off a new year and a new way to recognize the exciting initiatives being advanced using BadgeOS. Welcome to the very first BadgeOS Distinguished Site. We’re excited to start by highlighting one of the over 10,000 sites that are using BadgeOS to foster engagement, guide learning and issue digital badges and credentials.

ILR promotes professional development for teachers through thoughtful and progressive understanding of what it takes to be a twenty-first century educator and learner. As teachers demonstrate mastery in five levels of skills associated with successful, student-centered classrooms, they earn digital credentials that can be showcased on their Credly profile and other social and professional networks, like LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter.

According to Dr. Billie J. McConnell, Vice President of K12 Education at Connected Consulting, “The goal of ILR is to be more than a resource. We want teachers to have an opportunity to become lifelong learners and to demonstrate mastery.”

With expertise in the integration of technology, curriculum development, leadership, motivation, and how students learn, the Connected Consulting team assists K-12 schools in creating meaningful change in the classroom. Their focus is on assisting teachers in creating learning environments that are engaging and authentic, and that allow students to develop the skills they need for their future.
