Looks like they didn’t, and I don’t see anything below “See below” in your reply above.

When in doubt, at this point, email me the information/replies. I stay on top of email as well.

Ok, important questions for possible “monkey patching”. If I recall right, this is for the yourdomain.com/bs/ subsite.

    A) Are the reports needed JUST for that subsite? or is it a network wide thing that is needed?
    B) Would you be willing to grant FTP access? Just in case, though obviously I’d be very careful.

If it’s still timing out and not rendering the final result, then yes it would still be an issue.

Makes sense, guess the biggest question is how can we make any querying we do more efficient for larger installs like yours. Not something I have an answer for at the moment, and would need to confer with our devs.

This should still be valid. The first question is going to be if the admin who earned the achievement did so before you added this snippet. If yes, then this snippet isn’t going to undo that. This is more for during the process of the code checking if the user should get an achievement, before it’s been officially earned or not. The code above will definitely say “no” to the admin users.

If I recall correctly, we do have a WordPress filter for that, but if you’re not the coder type, then I’ll need to walk you through the process a little bit and code up a quick solution for you.

Let me know which is the case and I’ll help you from there.

Hoping the original issues are resolved now, but let me know if you still run into any issues.

Confirmed issues, and we’re looking into what’s going on. I emailed you directly with the zip file and license key in the mean time so that you’re not stuck waiting for us.

Lisa, just to confirm, this is for downloading from here on badgeos.org?

I have it fixed in the alpha branch, but if you want to apply just this one fix yourself, you can make the change highlighted at https://github.com/opencredit/badgeos/pull/364/files

It’ll go in the includes/user.php file at line 220

I have to wonder if the queries employed by the active user query is choking the server, to be honest. I was able to see the user list for the /bs/ site at first, but once I try to visit the badgeos active users list, and then try to return to the /bs/ user list, it starts hanging and struggling again.

Not sure how much your host people will understand WordPress specifically, but I am certain they have at least one person who would understand the size of this, in terms of database querying.

This is what’s used to start displaying the active users list

Honestly, I’m seeing my browser struggle to connect to any page that involves listing users in any way, even something like /wp-admin/users.php so I’m starting to wonder if it’s a deeper issue than just our plugin.

Are you able to navigate to any user list for the site and get the page to render properly?

Appears to be connecting for me now today, so I’ll resume looking into this shortly

I’m not successfully recreating on my localhost site.

I copied the audio post in question, so I am borrowing moments of bandwith. However, I have BadgeOS installed and activated and the audio is playing just fine.

I tried installing some of my suspected plugin culprits from your site, like ‘Easy Fancybox’ and ‘jQuery Updater’ and neither caused the audio files to not embed. So, I’m not sure which plugin is the absolute start of the issue, and it’s not something I’m going to be able to debug since it’s a live site. If the situation can be recreated on a dev site, then we’d be in business, but that aspect is up to you to get set up.

Hope this helps, and let me know if you want to try and get the dev copy going. I’d be happy to keep looking into it from there.

Forgot last night that I was doing that moment of testing in Firefox, and I remember that it wasn’t liking the mp3 copies. Sorry about that part. Revisiting right now to see if anything else is showing through for me, this time with Chrome, which is more mp3 friendly.

Not sure what’s changed since earlier, but I am seeing general jQuery issues showing up in my browser console so there is definitely js conflict going on, and it’s not from BadgeOS from what I can see. Even with BadgeOS presently deactivated, I’m not seeing the audio players on the page provided earlier.

Having trouble getting it to connect to the site at the moment. Curious if there was any scheduled maintenance or so for the network.

Aha…my mistake. I missed seeing the /bs/ portion and thought you were just providing me the main site login. Sorry about that Matt. Will check on that tonight for you.

Letting me know which network site the issue is in, so I know exactly where to look without potentially spending a bunch of time on one that it’s not an issue in. 🙂
