I would agree with Sander. The functionality was not what I expected. To reinforce two messages that resonate with me:
1. A proactive message informing a user they have earned a badge is exactly what I expected this plugin to be able to do. It doesn’t for the reasons outlined by Sander.
2. The modal overlay is rather ugly. I was expecting something more polished (like this http://codecanyon.net/item/modal-log-in-for-wordpress/3509483)
Finally, let me conclude that I love the overall BadgeOS system – fantastic. This plugin (at $55) was a disappointment. Hopefully you guys will continue to develop it.
