Yes it did, thanks!
in reply to: JQuery Error with BadgeOS #12204Thanks Michael,
I had someone else looking into another plugin with similar issues, and it seems that it was my ClickBump SEO plugin, which I have disabled for now and contacted the developer to let them know. Thanks for looking into this and giving some direction.

Thank you for your prompt reply. Yes, if you could point me on the right track that would be helpful. I’ll PM you the login details in a moment.

in reply to: JQuery Error with BadgeOS #12189Hi Michael,
Thank you for your reply. Some of the terminology is new to me, so just so that I understand, what action do I have to take?
Are you saying to check all JS files within the plugin and manually change all of the href selectors to have quotation marks? Or is this something that will be changed in the next BadgeOS update and I should wait until then?
Regards,
Rockyin reply to: JQuery Error with BadgeOS #12137Oh my domain would help: WeLearnChess.com.
Also, I see the same error with one other plugin, so maybe this is a problem with the new version of WordPress?
in reply to: adding sound to pop-ups #8496Yep fair enough–not expecting promises. Just wanted to put the request in. Thanks!
in reply to: adding sound to pop-ups #8494Thanks Michael. Is there a place where we can request features for the add ons? Or, if not, could you please pass this on to the developers? I’d like to request this feature. Thanks!
in reply to: can't seem to get congrats pop ups to work #8196lol thanks Michael. That was simple! (Might be a good idea to make that the default, for dunces like me!)
in reply to: can't seem to get congrats pop ups to work #8178Thanks Michael. I just updated the user role.
in reply to: can't seem to get congrats pop ups to work #8176Oh I forgot to answer your question. This site is under development but needs to be live early next week, so I’d like to get this issue resolved as soon as possible.
in reply to: can't seem to get congrats pop ups to work #8175Hi Michael,
Thanks for your response.
I checked the page source on my index page and searched for “badge.” It looks like there is some code in various parts of the page, so does that qualify for what you mean as there being a call?
Sure, I’d love for you to take a look. Please create a user name at my site BusinessWritingTutorials.com/wp-login.php and I’ll give you admin privileges so that you can take a look. (perhaps make a user name like “support” or “michael” so that I know it’s you, as it looks like I had someone else create a username from support for another site recently. Please just let me know before you make any changes to the site code of course. 🙂
Thanks!
in reply to: can't seem to get congrats pop ups to work #8172Hi Michael,
Thank you for your response. I’m not familiar with PhP (which I think is what some of the terminology in your response refers to), so could you kindly clarify the following related to your first suggestion:
1. what file I have to look at (footer.php in the main theme, something in the child theme, something else?)
2. which line of code I have to find, and
3. what to change it to (or what to add, if I don’t find that line or lines of code)?Or, if I am misunderstanding altogether, please clarify so that I know what action to take. Please keep in mind that I am an end user and not a programmer, so I will need some guidance.
For your second idea, I’m not sure what action you are recommending. Perhaps we can get step 1 above clarified first, and, if the problem persists, you could provide some guidance on steps to proceed.
I will do some plugin conflict checks in the meantime but, to be honest, I should be able to use all of the plugins I have because BadgesOS is intended to work with BuddyPress (and Learn Dash, as both LD and Badges seem to advertise each other). I mean, if it turns out that the BadgesOS Congrats add-on conflicts with a new BuddyPress install, it is not fair to ask the end user to uninstall BuddyPress, because BadgesOS is marketed as working with it. That is just one example of course, but please remember that this is a premimum add-on. I understand that nothing is perfect in this world, but I think it is reasonable to expect the add-on to work with the setup that I have, and if it doesn’t, to receive some specific guidance on how to fix it. If you have some self-help guides specifically on troubleshooting the Congrats add-on, I can go through the steps, but I did not see a guide on the site (maybe I’m missing it).
Thank you for understanding and for the time and assistance you can provide.
in reply to: can't seem to get congrats pop ups to work #8168I think I see one of you guys in there testing, so I created a Badges page if it makes it easier to find ones to test:
